Hairpin state of mind: Hypnosis, Psychosis, Scoliosis
A series made from hammered brass and sterling silver wire, nested. Inspired by Alexander Calder, these artworks are displayed in glass domes in a nest of steel wool, with etched labels to appear like specimens, as if our state of mind is something to be analysed and inspected.
These works were originally crafted for the Off Stage exhibition at Alpha House in May 2024, and sold in the Head Seed exhibition in September 2024.
